Michael Strahan's daughter Isabella celebrates a major milestone in the battle with brain cancer

Isabella Strahan, the 19-year-old daughter of "Good Morning America" host Michael Strahan, has reached a significant milestone in her battle with brain cancer. On June 8, Isabella posted a video on TikTok with her twin sister, Sophia, celebrating the completion of her chemotherapy treatment at Duke Children's Hospital & Health Center in Durham, North Carolina.

In the video, Isabella and Sophia can be seen dancing to Bryson Tiller's "Let Em' Know," with the captions "Just finished chemo" and "Did it." The post received an outpouring of support from followers, with comments like "YAYYY! So happy for you!" "So happy for you!!!!!" and "Yay congratulations, we are proud of youu!"
Isabella's journey with brain cancer began in October 2023, when she was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a type of malignant brain tumor. She underwent her first brain surgery on October 27, just one day before her 19th birthday. The surgery was followed by several rounds of chemotherapy and radiation treatment, as well as a month of rehabilitation.

Throughout her treatment, Isabella has been open about her experiences, sharing updates on her YouTube channel and social media. In her latest video, she revealed that she had been experiencing memory loss due to the cancer treatment. She explained that she had been given a drug to protect her hearing, but it had caused her to lose her memory for several days.

Despite the challenges she has faced, Isabella remains positive and determined. In an interview with "Good Morning America," she said, "Perspective is a big thing. I'm grateful. I am grateful just to walk, see friends, or do something, because when you can't do something, it really impacts  you."
Isabella's father, Michael Strahan, has been by her side throughout her journey, often visiting her in the hospital and sharing updates on social media. In an interview with people, he said, "I'm the luckiest man in the world because I've got an amazing daughter... I know she's going through it, but I know that we're never given more than we can handle, and that she is going to crush  this."

Isabella's twin sister, Sophia, has also been a constant source of support, often visiting her in the hospital and appearing in her YouTube videos. In one video, Sophia helped Isabella learn to walk again after her surgery.
As Isabella celebrates the completion of her chemotherapy treatment, she is also looking forward to returning to her normal life. In her latest YouTube video, she said, "I'm kind of scared, like, once I'm done, how am I going to go back to normal life? Because I feel like there's always going to be another treatment or something that I have to do."

However, for now, Isabella is taking things one day at a time and cherishing every moment with her family and friends. As she said in her interview with "Good Morning America," "You learn that you're probably not as strong as you thought you were when you have to really think about the real things, and I realized that I need support from everybody." ³.

Isabella's journey with brain cancer has been an inspiration to many, and her positive attitude and determination have made her a role model for young people facing similar challenges. As she moves forward in her recovery, she will continue to be an inspiration to all those who know her.
